Terms and Conditions

Once you've enrolled in one of our courses, classes or workshops, your spot is reserved just for you! Please keep in mind that all registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, we understand that sometimes life gets in the way of your pup's training journey. If you find yourself needing to cancel your enrolment, don't hesitate to reach out to us. While refunds are not guaranteed, we'll carefully consider each situation on a case-by-case basis and may provide a refund at our discretion.  

We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, both human and canine. Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:

1. Handlers' Responsibility: Throughout the course, handlers are responsible for both their dogs and their actions. It's important to maintain control and supervision at all times.
2. Leash Policy: Dogs must remain on a lead unless directed otherwise by a member of our experienced team. This helps ensure safety and control in our training environment.
3. Respect Others' Space: We understand that every dog has unique needs. Please be mindful of other dogs and handlers' space, as some may require extra room or consideration.
4. Cleanliness Protocol: Accidents happen, but we appreciate your cooperation in promptly notifying our staff if your dog toileted inside our venues. Please assist in clearing or disposing of any mess appropriately.
5. Health Awareness: If your dog shows any signs of illness, such as vomiting, diarrhoea, or coughing, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing them to class. Your dog's well-being is paramount, so please notify us promptly via call or text message at 07512894036.

We prioritise positive reinforcement and gentle training methods to nurture a strong bond between you and your furry friend. With this in mind, we want to emphasize our stance on equipment usage during our courses:

1. No Aversive Equipment: We do not endorse the use of aversive tools such as retractable leads, prong collars, shock collars, slip leads, or any other devices that could cause fear or discomfort to your dog.
2. Guidance on Alternatives: If you arrive with any of these tools, we'll kindly advise you on alternative equipment that aligns with our positive training philosophy and is more suitable for effective and compassionate training methods.
3. Compliance Required: It's essential to adhere to our equipment guidelines throughout the course. Failure to comply will result in exclusion from the remainder of the program, without refund.
4. Recommended Equipment: We suggest using a flat lead paired with either a properly fitted harness (preferably Y-shaped at the front) or a standard collar. These options provide comfort and control while promoting a positive training experience for both you and your dog.

During our courses and workshops, we love capturing memorable moments of you and your furry companion in action! These photos and videos may be featured on our social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or our website to showcase the incredible progress and fun we're having at Pup Pups.

 However, we respect your privacy preferences. If you prefer not to have photos or videos of you and/or your dog shared on our promotional materials, please don't hesitate to let a member of our team know.  

Special Offers will be reviewed periodically, and any changes will be made as needed. If you have already purchased an offer, rest assured that it will be honored until its completion. 

At Pup Pups Dog Training, while we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment for you and your furry companion, it's important to recognize that certain risks may be inherent, both indoors and outdoors. Therefore, we want to make it clear that we do not assume responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property, or for any injuries sustained by either yourself or your dog, including illness, while attending any of our venues, whether indoor or outdoor.

We encourage all participants to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of their pets during our training sessions. This includes keeping a watchful eye on your dog, maintaining control of them at all times, and being aware of your surroundings.

 1. Training Services

Pup Pups offers the following dog training sessions:

• Consultation – one 60-minute session
• Package 1 – two 60-minute sessions
• Package 2 – three 60-minute sessions
• Package 3 – eight 60-minute sessions
• Reactivity Consultation – one 60-minute session
• Reactivity Package – five 60-minute sessions

Session dates and times will be agreed between Pup Pups and the client at the time of booking.

2. Scheduling and Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule any training session. Requests to reschedule will be accommodated where reasonably possible.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made on the day of the session will be charged at the full session fee.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice (but not on the same day) will be charged 50% of the session fee.
• The remaining 50% may be credited towards a future session or refunded upon request.

4. Package Validity

Training packages must be completed within the following timeframes from the date of the first session:

• Package 1: within 4 weeks
• Package 2: within 5 weeks
• Package 3: within 10 weeks
• Reactivity Package: within 8 weeks

Sessions not used within these timeframes may be forfeited unless otherwise agreed.

5. Package Cancellations and Refunds

If a training package is cancelled before all sessions have been used:

• Any completed sessions will be charged at the standard hourly rate of £55 per session.
• The remaining balance will be refunded.

For Package 3, if six or more sessions have already been used, any remaining unused sessions will not be eligible for a refund.

6. Trainer Cancellations

If the trainer needs to cancel a session, Pup Pups will offer alternative dates and times.

• For individual sessions, a refund or credit may be issued at the client’s request.
• For package sessions, the package validity period will be extended by one week, or a credit/refund for the remaining sessions may be provided.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring their dog is fit and healthy to participate in training and for informing the trainer of any medical conditions or behavioural concerns prior to the session.

Pup Pups cannot accept liability for injury, loss or damage caused by a dog during training sessions.

 By booking a consultation or training package with Pup Pups, clients agree to these terms and conditions. 

10. Children and Other Attendees

Children attending training sessions must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.

Any additional attendees must be agreed with the trainer in advance.

 11. Training Results

Dog training results may vary depending on factors including the dog’s temperament, environment, and the consistency of training carried out by the owner.

While Pup Pups will provide professional guidance and support, no guarantee can be made regarding the outcome or speed of behavioural change.
